Back in the early 90s, there was a baseball player named Kevin Maas. He had a fantastic rookie year, being the fastest player every to hit 10 home runs (79th at bat). He eventually hit 21 home runs that year and seemed like the heir apparent to Don Mattingly at first base. Unfortunately pitchers learned a terrible secret about Maas, he could crush a fastball, but had no idea how to hit a curve ball. He career didn’t take off as he expected, he was out of baseball 4 years later, ended up somewhere in Japan I think. Anyways, someone has dedicated a Yankees blog to him called NoMaas. I think his latest entries about Torre are very funny. I’ve been checking back for the past few days and the blog is updated frequently and is fun to read. Not really the site to go if you aren’t a Yankee fan, but it is a good read.
